PDG Innovations app for iPhone and iPad

The PDG Innovations App will feature the doctor/dentist version and a patient version. The patient version will be available only through an invite from a treating providing doctor. The doctors version will first, be able to verify that the doctor/dentist is truly a practicing licensed dentist in the United States. Once verified, a doctor can establish an account with PDG Innovations. The dentist/doctor will then be able to enter specific patient implant data placed in the patients mouth. This will include a drop down box with data from 23 implant manufacturers (platform size, type of driver needed to restore dental implant, and torque value recommended settings established by each manufacturer). The dentist will also be able to take a photo of packaging to record the Lot # and Reference # of each implant placed in the patients mouth. The doctor will also be able to take a photo and record an x ray of the implant at day of surgery for reference. There is also a comment box that allows a doctor to type any thing the doctor would feel pertinent to the patients implant when communicating with any future provider. The doctor will also be able to “add to” or “update” x rays under the patients implant record on follow up appointments. Once an implant record has been recorded the doctor/dentist will be able to invite the patient to the App to establish an account and receive their implant data inside their App. The treating doctor/dentist will also be able to invite a fellow colleague to also download the App. The patient will be able to share their implant record data with any future dentists once the future dentist has the App and secondly, when the patient allows them access to their data. This data will all be secure and extremely efficient compared to the current methods for sharing patient implant information in the United States.
